Wow, so much going on and so much has happened. Can't complain. I'm playing alot of music wirth alot of talented musicians since the relocation to the Philly area. Below are a few highlights. For current updates visit me on:

I guess the biggest news in the past few months is the arrival of Steven James on February 4. He's quite the little man!!

Its pretty awesome being a dad and watching Steven grow. So much lies ahead. Check out more photos in the photo gallery.

MARASSA DUO ~ We have had to renegotiate dates for this spring in the Philly area. Dates are being rescheduled for October 08. Check our myspace page for updates, stop by and be a friend!

HOUSE PANTHER PRESS ~ a bunch of new pieces have been added to the catalogue this spring. Check them out at the HPP website. Online and secure ordering available. Myspace site being put together...stay tuned.

In other news worthy of mention I have been playing ALOT! Not bad for only being here approx. 6 months now. I have been doing several gigs with singer/ songwriter Kursten Bouton, Orlando Fiol, the ETown Jazz Quartet, Summit Caribbean Steel Band, did a few appearances with Urbana, and hope to start working with singer Lili Añel within the next couple weeks. Things have been busy to say the least.. I have also been doing some solo tambor performances throughout the area. Mostly afroCuban and afroHaitian folkloric drumming on batá and congas. More dates are being scheduled as the response has been pretty outstanding. I have even done a few guest lectures on Vodou Drumming. I just continue to network and get my name out there.

I am also (still) the master tambor for Sosyete du Marche, a small Vodou house in Lansdale, PA. Certainly keeps my chops up on the solo drumming. I amd also teaching percussion at Elizabethtown College. Several events upcoming, including the percussion ensemble's spring semester concert.

Other spare time (yeah right) is spent watching hockey (GO FLYERS!!) and hangin with the little man. Even had a chance to chec k out the Pat Metheny Trio at the Keswick Theater - Antonio Sanchez!!! Oh yeah, and practicing too, ALWAYS practicing :)

If you would like to get in touch drop me an email. I would enjoy hearing from you.

always remember:

Information is not knowledge
Knowledge is not wisdom
Wisdom is not truth
Truth is not beauty
Beauty is not love
Love is not music

Music is the BEST...
